About Granny’s Secret

Rooted in Tradition. Made for Today.

The story of a ritual, a grandmother’s wisdom, and a bottle built to carry both forward.

Our Story

It Started at a Kitchen Table

Every Sunday, long before “self-care” was a trend, Farzana’s grandmother would warm a small pan of oil, sit her down, and begin. Fingers moving slowly through the scalp, stories shared in between.

Granny’s Secret Hair Oil began as an attempt to bottle that feeling: the warmth, the patience, and the simple, natural ingredients that made the ritual what it was.

The Tradition

A Ritual Older Than Any Trend

Across generations, hair oiling has been treated as a quiet act of care — a weekly pause to nourish, massage and tend to the hair with ingredients drawn straight from nature’s pantry.

That tradition, more than any single ingredient, is what shaped Granny’s Secret.

Our Philosophy

Four Words We Design Around

Natural

We reach for ingredients with a place in traditional hair care.

Simple

One thoughtful formula, done properly.

Thoughtful

Every decision is made with intention, not haste.

Authentic

Inspired by a real family ritual, not an invented story.

Why We Created Granny’s Secret

Because Some Rituals Deserve to Continue

Modern routines move fast, and it’s easy for slower rituals to quietly disappear. We created Granny’s Secret because we didn’t want that particular one to.

Our goal was simple: make a natural hair oil good enough, and honest enough, to become part of someone’s own weekly ritual.

A Note From Our Founder

“I didn’t grow up thinking of hair oiling as skincare — it was just something we did together, every week, without question. Starting Granny’s Secret was my way of holding onto that.”
